The Force user guides the flow of energy, protecting
themselves and others or unleashing blasts of power
upon their foes:
• Protect: The user chooses themselves or one ally they are currently engaged with and makes a Protect power check and rolls an Average (2 Purple) Discipline check as part of the pool. Spend Fore Points to reduce damage from a single hit of an attack that hits the affected target by an amount equal to the user's Willpower. This effect lasts until the beginning of the user's next turn.
•Unleash: The user makes an Unleash power
check as a ranged attack and rolls an Average (2 Purple) Discipline check as a part of the pool. If the check succeeds and the user spends Force Points, the attack hits. It has a range of short, a base damage equal
to Willpower, and a critical rating of 4. The
difficulty of the check increases normally with range, but may never be easier than Average (2 Purple) The user gains 1 Conflict.

Background
Born to clan Qhâj on Tython in the year 25,820, Khiteru spent most of his early years at the temple, Padawan Kesh, until he was taken on as an apprentice of beast rider and Je'daii Master Hekataria Wyr until teenage years. At the end of his time as a Journeyer to each of Tython's temples, the Despot War broke out in the system and upon being elevated to the rank of Ranger, Khiteru was placed in service of his old master, Hekataria. He learned to tend to mounts, gear them for battle, and even fight while mounted, although his master wasn't enthusiastic to allow him into battle beyond an auxiliary role.
At the end of the war he spent most of his time either going on missions to Ska Gora or helping in Anil Kesh's beast pens, capturing beasts from the Abyss of Ruh, training at Stav Kesh, and catching some R&R visiting his hometown near Bodhi. All the while trying to establish himself as a valorous peacekeeper to the people of the Tythos system, especially in his involvement of the early hostilities on Ska Gora during the Wookiee land wars and subsequent stationing there to monitor the aftermath and protecting the ecosystem. This job became crucial when the Rakatan Infinite Empire invaded Tython as he had to ensure that a Rakatans wouldn't establish a foothold on Ska Gora.
When the Rakatans finally did invade the planet, his duties shifted to evacuation of civilians and defensive support, but when the battle turned in favor of the Rakatans he was captured by them, and forced into a Force Drive tomb cell. He survived in abject pain for some years before being transferred to an experimental Rakatan flagship for a high ranking Predor testing a Force Drive that held a force sensitive being in stasis for extended use, with Khiteru intended to power it as a trophy (along with all his belongings in the Predor's quarters). However due to an error of communication and a Predor sabotaging another to advance themselves in the Infinite Empire, the ship was fired upon and scuttled during an expansion expedition to a world strong in the force. the ship crashed on the world, killing most aboard. The stasis remained operational however, preserving Khiteru for millennia.
Motivation
Oaths:
Balance of the Force:
It is said by some that the Force is out of balance. Though the matter of what balance in the Force would look like has challenged its students since time immemorial. Still, a darkness festers at the heart of the Empire (and republic... and confederacy), and all who know it's oppression can feel its wicked core. As great an effort as it might entail to restore and maintain the, very energy of the cosmos. the character has taken an oath to see the cosmic balance of the galaxy set right
Species:
The character has sworn to further the success of a given species among the many strange and mundane sentient beings in the galaxy. The character might believe in a future of this species' ascendancy, or might simply wish to see it protected from external threats. Whatever the case. the character's commitment is powerful.
(upon understanding that they aren't anywhere to be found, he will be committed to tracking down and safeguarding his species and culture)
Obligations
Keeper of the Faith: Much to many other freelancers' amusement, this character has sworn to faithfully uphold both the spirit and the letter of some code of honor. The PC believes very strongly in these edicts and adheres to them with an almost religious fervor, The Character never knowingly breaks any of the rules laid down in the code, and may turn on colleagues who do so.
Family: Ties of kinship can exert an incredible pull on most beings, perhaps even serving as the main reason someone chooses the life of an Explorer—to get away from domineering parents or other powerful relatives. There are times, however, when an Explorer may be doing what he does for his family and not despite them. Perhaps a Fringer sees wandering the Rim as a way to return his family to some kind of prominence after a terrible fall. Maybe the lifelong search of an Archaeologist revolves around the ancient homelands of his people. Meanwhile, a Big-Game Hunter may follow in his father's footsteps, determined to exceed the old man's accomplishments.
