Hailing from the peaceful, yet extremely strict land of Sacorria, Vissicia Mira is a devout follower of Sha'ra, a religious subsidiary of the Secorrian Triad and grew up within the urban monastery of the Order of Sha'ra. The Order has guided her education since birth; the priestesses imbued the credo of "Family, Faith, Fidelity" into the core of her being, and also provided a surprisingly well rounded education in assorted lore, scholastic knowledge and medicine. After noting her particular interest in the healing arts, the Order placed her in the medical wing of a nearby Empire military installation to pursue medical training.

As part of her religious practices, Vissicia has left the Order and postponed further medical training in order to complete five years of galactic travel to spread the word of Sha'ra, to experience the various cultures and civilizations across the galaxy and to return with news and information about the state of the galaxy. Because of Vissicia's previous experience with the Empire, the Order thought it most convenient to work through the same channels to find her suitable travel companions.

Vissicia is desperately homesick by this point (especially being exposed to so much of the vast openness of space), and it is her faith to her duty that keeps her going. However, being a highly intelligent young Selonian, she also can't help but be piqued by the whirlwind of cultures and civilizations that she is being exposed to as a result of her travels. She is determined that, while she must be off-planet for the duration, she will also be alert and document her travels to the best of her ability.

Personnel: Being a medic means devotion to the health and well-being of all personnel on-ship. For Vissicia, it is important to her not only as a matter of competently completing her job, it is the fulfilment of her obligation to her Order that she is as competent a medic as Selonianly possibly. Her entire goal is to prevent injuries and most importantly, death, even at the cost of a ruined mission.

Standing at just shy of 1.9 meters, Vissicia was the runt of her litter. Her fur is a light brown, and longer and darker near the crown of her head. Distinctive lighter facial markings mark her as a genetic offspring of the Mira Den.
