Background
Lelouch Windstream grew up in Imperial nobility, his father the planetary governor of Coruscant, his mother a decorated Admiral in the Imperial Navy. Both were away from home a decent amount of the time, but he knew they cared for him, and for his younger sister Nunnally, too.
Then, nine years ago, tragedy struck. One day when his parents were both home, a political enemy attacked and destroyed the Windstream residence on Coruscant, killing Lelouch's parents and crippling Nunnally. The media covered it up as a terrorist attack, a 'bold Rebel strike on the capital', but the ten-year-old Lelouch knew the truth—his parents were killed by fellow Imperials, and the Emperor did not care.
His mother's most loyal subordinate, Jeremiah Gottwald, helped Lelouch and Nunnally escape Coruscant and make it to the Outer Rim, where they linked up with family friends. By then, Lelouch was 15, and decided he wanted to join in the fight. However, he wasn't the best frontline fighter, so instead he turned to tactics, using his incredible skill at strategy games to craft battle plans the Imperials could not match. They worked to get in touch with the developing Rebel Alliance, but it would take time, so in the interim, he and Jeremiah fought independently, aiding other resistance cells.
For about two years, he was just a nameless strategist on the rearlines, but he did not stay there forever—one of the first philosophies his mother had taught him was 'if a leader doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?', and it was a philosophy he adopted whole-heartedly. Wearing an elaborate costume designed to conceal his identity from the Empire, Lelouch eventually took to the front lines, directing the troops he fought with under the moniker 'Zero'. Upon entering the battlefield, he soon discovered he was able to influence the minds of those around him—he could alter their emotional states, sway them to his point of view, etc. The only visible sign of this was that his left eye would glow when using this ability, making him thankful for his helmet to hide the glow. He sees his ability as just another tool, and while he intends not to try and overuse it, he needs to use every tool in his arsenal to win. He has also begun using the Zero persona to make grand speeches decrying the Empire and its policies.
Now 19, Lelouch has been on the battlefield for four years, and has finally made contact with the Rebellion, who has sent him to the Lantilles Sector to aid the fighting there. Together with Jeremiah, as well as a young pilot who has joined him named Kallen, Lelouch intends to do his part to bring the Empire to its knees...
Motivation
Drive/The Game - Lelouch played many strategy games before his parents' deaths, and tends to see warfare as just a game with much higher stakes.
Ambition/Revenge - Lelouch seeks Revenge for the death of his parents, and will do what he needs to in order to do it.
Cause/Overthrow the Empire - With the Empire sweeping his parents' deaths under the rug, Lelouch considers it an accessory to what happened to them, and seeks to help bring it down.
Relationship/Sibling - Lelouch fights to ensure that his sister, Nunnally, will grow up safe, and to create a peaceful galaxy for her. For her own safety, he has placed her under the care of family friends and deliberately does not know where she is, to keep her from being used against him.
Duties
Combat Victory (5 Points) - Lelouch's primary goal in combat has always been the total defeat of his enemies, as he deploys his forces in ways to ensure that enemy forces cannot escape from him.
Enemy Demoralization (5 Points) - As Zero, Lelouch is a powerful symbol of the Rebellion. Striking the Empire's most fortified locations, every crushing defeat Lelouch delivers to the Empire is an equally-crushing blow to Imperial morale.
