Description

Background

Not your standard Jedi knight, Minarti Venn was one of a number of Jedi who, in the years before the clone wars, served the order by sequestering herself on a jungle moon to commune with the living force itself.

Pre-Clone Wars, she lived full time on a small Jedi base on the jungle planet Obatai, where Jedi who needed help communing with the Living Force could come and meditate. She was never people person, but was happy to instruct others. The war broke out and all of her students left to fight in it, and suddenly, without all the distractions of teaching there was total solitude... she could do what she always wanted and fully commit herself to the living force. Which she did; in a very selfish, un-jedi way, letting her students go to war while she stayed and just became a hermit, making no attempt to restart the order.

After years of solitary meditation and training, eventually an Inquisitor came for her, but after a brief desperate battle, she was able to give them the slip and take their ship for her own. Since then she's been hopping from isolated planet to isolated planet, looking for somewhere new to disappear to so she can continue her life dedicated to the force uninterrupted. She likes the solitude and eventually ended up on Cholganna.

Motivation

Enlightenment - Minarti seeks spiritual and intellectual enlightenment above all else. She doesn't seek to bring enlightenment to others, for she realizes that such a goal is innately personal.

Morality

Independence – Believes in relying on herself. She refuses to be a burden on others.
Coldness – Doesn’t just desire to rely only on herself, but has nothing but disinterest for anyone else.

Description

Late 40s, 5'6, stocky, and tough after years of training. Teal, freckled skin, brown eyes, shortish lethorns.

Never been great with people, but years of no other interaction with other sentients have made her worse at socializing. She also has trouble dealing with everyday minutia, as if she can't quite stop considering the cosmos long enough to choose her next meal or remember a new name.

Secretly holds deep feelings of regret and shame for not being there to try and stop the purge.
