Background

CT-9044 is a clone trooper. He is the basic soldier. He had no aptitudes beyond his brothers. Even personality wise he wasn't that different. But now he has started to dream. To wonder. To aspire.

Motivation

Like all other clones, CT-9044 was raised on Kamino. He was taught how to fight and made into a soldier. He was taught that the Republic was the ultimate source of good in the galaxy, and that Jedi are the Arbiters of peace. And he was taught that his own life was meant to be sacrificed for the continued existance of that peace. It was a great honor that brave men and women had volunteered for for centuries.
