Background

Dukro is actually a native to Tatooine. His parents owned a cantina in a small trade post known as Baz Tir run by the Hutt Cartel. Naturally, he liked them and they liked his family. He had always looked up to the gang members who had run the post, however his parents had always wanted him to live a more honest life. One day while out doing an ale run, while actually drinking it in the middle of nowhere with his friends, an Imperial transport ship landed at the trade post. Initially, it was thought that the Hutts fired the first shot, but stories vary. The Imperials shot up the post along with nearly everyone in it. When Dukro returned, all that was left was shot at buildings, burnt supply crates, and his dead parents' smoking bodies.

After a short period of grief, the survivors of Baz Tir buried their dead and moved to other sand holes. Dukro traveled to Mos Eisley seeking out the Hutts for a job. This would provide him with money, a chance at a pleasurable life, brotherhood, and the opportunities to strike back at the Imperials.
