Inka "Calamami" Smokkfiskur is a young Mon Calamari from Zeran Town, Mon Cala. Her parents, Sqan Admog and Dapirl Gril, were killed by the Empire in the occupation of Mon Cala. Her parents hid her as homes were being raided by storm troopers. Inka watched her parents plead for their lives before being killed point blank by a blaster. Her home town was destroyed in the occupation and she only made it out alive because her neighbor Squikkis Tsu, a smuggler took pitty on the orphaned girl. She worked for Squikkis Tsu until she was 18 years old helping him smuggle stolen goods in return for lodging and food.

Rivjay Sutkil a rebel soldier and spy payed Suikkis Tsu to use his contacts to smuggle him out of empire controlled territory. During that time, Rivjay, trained Inka in weaponry, one on one combat, and medicine after being saved by Squikkis Tsu.

Inka never wants to feel helpless in a situation of life and death which sparked her passion for medicine. She also wants to use the rage inside of her and seek justice for her parents and the villagers who were killed during the occupation.
