Background

Born on the Gank homeworld of Nar Shaddaa, Maki Jade lived the beginning of her life close with her family. She was inseparable with her mechanic brother, following along him everywhere he goes. He was the one who gave Maki her first cybernetic enhancements. This continued until one day, the Empire took her older brother. All she had left to remember him by was an arm lost in the entanglement. Enraged and alone, Maki devoted herself to stopping the Empire at all costs. She then installed her brother's lost arm in memory of his supposed loss. Her deep feelings for her brothers opened up a channel through the force, and Maki found her new arm to have greater power than meets the eye (repulsor fist stats). With her newfound strength and pure thirst for justice, Maki went on her way to thwart the Empire in its tyrannical rule. This path lead her directly to the Rebel Alliance, where she continues to fight in the memory of her lost Gank brother.
