Gabby, full name Togabla, was born into a life of smuggling far removed from his Wookie roots. His first memories were piling into overcrowded criminals' holds with his twin sister Grabby, hiding from first Trandoshans, later the Empire.

After maturing and striking out with his own with a crew of renegades, Gabby and Grabby quickly fell into the lifestyle of smuggling: lying to the powerful, hiding in the shadows, and questioning if his wits could stave off death until tomorrow. Ten years of smuggling weapons, livestock, even scrap materials later, Gabby was piloting The Spicy Sarlacc, the slowest and most reliable smuggling freighter free of Empire history.

The Spice flowed too strong for The Spicy Sarlacc's captain, Jerko Montgomery. Following a string of bad jobs and one too many double-crosses of the Pikes, Gabby and Grabby were traded as a slave to work the mines of Kessel in exchange for Jerko's many debts.

A cave in at the mines claimed Gabby's leg in his first month underground. Grabby cleared the rubble and forced her way to Takook, renowned for her mechanical skill and compassion. Takook fashioned a new prosthetic leg for Gabby who talked her into bringing Gabby and Grabby into her mining crew.

Eager to repay Takook's favours, they offered to come along to Kashyyk. Offering street smarts, black market experience, and an eye for deception, Gabby's eager to prove he still has a silver tongue and the knack for space flight. Plus, he might learn a thing or two about Wookie traditions.

To recreate the Wookie culture and re-establish Kasyyk's economic and social prosperity.

The same as all the other wookies in the party. Having been rescued from the mines, Gabby's obligation is to help reconstruct a wookie civilization away from the slave trade.
