Tresk's sensitivity to the force was detected early due to his heightened awareness, his innate intelligence and his ability to slip away unnoticed. He arrived at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant a few months prior to the execution of Order 66 and was among the padawans rescued by Hanzin Kush.

To protect the padawans, Hanzin tried to find trusted mentors for the younglings who would help them keep their secrets safe. Tresk was left with Beyonne, one of Hanzin's best "finders" and chief source of information. Beyonne treated Tresk as her apprentice and guided his desires to gather information about Order 66 so that his curiosity would not be traced back to their dataports.

Beyonne was the first to learn of Hanzin's capture and impending execution and she discreetly gathered the rescued padawans so that they could be notified of both the dire need of their rescuer and their own potential exposure.

Discovering the secrets behind Order 66. Knowing how dangerous this motivation is, Tresk is cautious to explore unless he feels secure in his environs or his escape route...

Tresk has set the lofty goal of discovering all of the secrets behind the day that changed his life forever. He wants to be the one who breaks the code of why the clones turned on their Jedi colleagues and who was behind it all.
