Background
Fast-tracked onto the officer root, Al Marak was set to have a grand career in the military, he as a model soldier, he followed orders, and could give them if needed. But then his little brother ran from the family, and that gave him a bit of a wakeup call. He began to realize that the whole oppressive regime bit wasn't working with the locals, so the persona of sergeant smiles was born, a kinder stormtrooper that is like the kind police officer in old holo flicks. After a few years of service as Smiles, he would eventually be transferred into heavy combat,

Description
He has taken his break from the core to go and explore the galaxy and live some life, that doesn't mean he has escaped the call of duty. Perhaps its being heckled for taking a break, or being harassesed by recruiters to make him end his emporary vacation immediatly, the call of duty is still there.
