Bacta Specialist 132 EotE Patients under the character's supervision regain one additional wound per rank of Bacta Specialist each time they recover a wound while recovering in a Bacta tank or under supervised medical conditions or long-term care.
It's Not That Bad 150 AoR Once per game session, when an ally is about to suffer a critical injury, the character can take an It’s Not That Bad incidental to make a Hard Medicine check. If successful, the ally does not gain the Critical Injury and does not suffer any of its normal effects (although the attack that caused the Critical Injury still deals its damage as normal).
Quick Draw 141 EotE Once per round on the character’s turn, he may draw or holster an easily accessible weapon as an incidental, not a maneuver. This talent also reduces the amount of time to draw or stow a weapon that usually requires more than one maneuver to properly prepare or stow, by one maneuver.
Stim Application (Improved) 143 EotE As an incidental, when performing a Stim Application action, the character may increase the difficulty of the Medicine check to Hard. If he does so, the target of the action suffers one point of strain instead of four.
Stimpack Specialization 157 AoR Whenever the character uses a stimpack, the target equal an additional wound per rank of Stimpack Specialization. The sixth stimpack and beyond each day still have no effect.
Surgeon 2 144 EotE When this character makes a Medicine check to help a character heal wounds, the target heals one additional wound per rank of Surgeon.
Stim Application The character may take the Stim Application action. To perform this action, he must have access to drugs. a medpac, or stimpacks. He makes an Average Medicine check. If successful, one ally he is engaged with (including himself) increases one characteristic of the character’s choice by one for the remainder of the encounter, and suffers four strain. A single character’s individual characteristics may each only be increased once by Stim Application during an encounter.

Background

Born on Felucia in Har Gau, Issie spent her formative years with her parents and little brother. The family was well off, although Har Gau was no place for a little girl with dreams of becoming a doctor. It had always seemed strange that a family with enough money for frivolities would live in such a sarlacc-pit of a town. Issie didn't realize why until she reached her teenage years, and her little brother, Oliver, started making contact with a local Hutt.

As it turned out, their father had worked for this Hutt for their entire lives as a hitman. Even more shocking was that their mother had been an assassin under the same patron for many years before they were born.

Soon after that, things took a turn for the worst.

Her father had failed to complete a mission, and his target escaped. The price for his failure was her mother's life. Issie hadn't known just how much control the Hutts had over all of their lives until her mother's death. It was at this point that she found out that her father had only been working for the Hutt because they provided a certain type of extremely rare tonic that couldn’t be found elsewhere. This tonic was the treatment for a degenerative genetic disease that Oliver, Issie, and their mother all carried.

The two children hadn't started to show symptoms yet, but learning that their time was limited without this treatment, the siblings had very different reactions. Oliver fell in with a rough crowd, and started working with the Hutt. On the other hand, Issie decided that she would "get off of this miserable dusty rock" and see the Galaxy before she succumbed, rather than be under the thumb of the Hutts her entire life, even if it may be longer.

On the day that she had set to leave, she got a call from her brother, Oliver, begging her to come help him. She sensed that something was very wrong, and set back into Har Gau with a blaster in hand. The same gang that he had fallen in with had decided they no longer had a use for him, and planned to use him to lure her into a trap, before selling off both of them for a profit.

They never got that far, however, not anticipating that she would fight back so fiercely in defense of her little brother. She had nearly managed to save him, but ultimately only got to him in time to watch him die at the hands of someone he had once called a friend.

With nothing keeping her tied to Felucia anymore, she left on the next freighter she could book a transport on, joined the GAR, and one year later, the war started.

Justice and Vengeance

After witnessing the death of her mother and brother at the hands of the cruel Hutt Cartel, Issie decided that she would do everything in her power to stop another family from being torn apart like hers was. She blames the Hutts for their deaths, and the Separatists for getting in the way of the Republic clearing out the Hutts.

Obligations

Duty 5 | Loss Prevention

Issie is a combat medic, and her duty is firmly bound to the people of the Rebellion. Depending on the situation, she can heal her allies, performing emergency medical treatment, or kill the bastards who try to hurt them before they get the chance.
