Early Life
Alpha-64 was an Alpha Class ARC-Troopers, an elite group of one hundred clones produced from Fett's unaltered genome and trained by Fett himself. As a result, Alpha-64 inherited all of Fett's combat skills, but also his loner personality streak. The Alpha Class ARC-Troopers were stationed on Kamino during the beginning of the war as the Kaminoans were unsure that independent nature of the Alpha Class ARC-Troopers made the unfit for service in the Grand Army of the Republic.

Clone Wars Era
During the Battle of Kamino (21 BBY) the Alpha Class ARC-Troopers proved themselves as incredibly effective warriors and after the battle were integrated into leadership roles across the Grand Army of the Republic. Alpha-64 was assigned to the 501st Legion as a Sergeant under the command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. Specifically, he was part of Commander Appo’s battalion. During the course of the war additional ARC-Troopers were trained, some of which were assigned to the 501st and were formed into an elite squad under the leadership of Alpha-64. Alpha-64 was nicknamed “Scratch” due to how he scratched patterns into his armour with his combat knife in his downtime. Alpha-64’s first deployment was to the Second Battle of Felucia (20 BBY) where he and his squad of ARC-Troopers fought alongside the 104th Battalion in repelling the Separatist forces which had attempted to retake the planet. The battle ended when Republic forces lead a raid on a Separatist command post. Fighting alongside Jedi Master Plo-Koon, Alpha-64 lead his squad of ARC-Troopers over the command post’s walls via jetpacks and executed a successful pincer manoeuvre with the rest of the 501st. The raid succeeded with minimal casualties, securing control of the system for the Republic.

Alpha-64 was present for the Battle of Coruscant (19 BBY). While the majority of the 501st battled in the planet’s orbit, Alpha-64 and his squad descended to the surface of the plant to fight the Separatist strike team which was laying siege to the city. Flying down to the battle via LAAT Gunship their course was suddenly changed when Jedi Master Mace Windu jumped into the gunship and ordered the pilot to change course. General Windu brought Alpha-64’s squad to intercept the abduction of Chancellor Palpatine but before Alpha-64’s squad could intervene their gunship was shot down and plummeted to Coruscant’s surface. General Windu jumped from the gunship before it crashed and attempted to rescue the Chancellor, but Alpha-64 and his squad were not so lucky. The gunship fell from the skies, crashing on the lower levels of the city. The pilot and 2 of Alpha-64’s best men were killed in the crash and he was also injured along with most of the others. Most of the injured would recover fully after some time in a bacta tank, including Alpha-64.
