Background
At the age of 9, Sorin Hehn’s clan was brutally slaughtered and the young ones taken into slavery for sale by mercenaries. Upon leaving the planet, the ship’s air dock engaged locked up, threatening the lives of everyone on board. Despite being so young and novice, Sorin used what knowledge he had from tinkering on his clan’s cruiser to disengage the door’s hydraulics. Amazed, the mercenaries sold all of his peers into slavery, but told him to stay behind as their mechanic. Being a Chandra-Han, he was simply glad to be around others and not alone, and accepted the role.
As time progressed, he became increasingly familiar with explosives. On one occasion, his partner failed to listen and ended up blowing a door prematurely, severing his left hand. Thankfully, he had procured enough credits for a cybernetic tool hand. At one point, Sorin manages to sneak a nice Holdout blaster from an imperial officer’s ship. After nearly a decade with his gang of villains, they disbanded due to increased pressure of bounty on their heads.
To retard his incessant loneliness, he currently contracts cohorts to join him on missions offered by members of the black market—ranging from theft to assassinations. Despite exhaustive effort, his folley always lands himself back in the same position: alone.
Among the undesirables in which he associates, those he can trust are hard to come by.
