Background
I was born on Mon Cala into the Ackbar family as Uther (OO-ther) Akbar. In a extremely rare occurrence on that planet, my parents and each of my siblings were eaten by a giant Krakana while vacationing at the Coral City beach shortly after my first birthday. I alone survived as I had been left on shore in the supervised infant pool. As an orphan, I was sent to live with my father’s youngest brother who had himself just seen the birth of his first son, Gial. I was immediately viewed as second-class by my uncle and his wife. They went so far as to alter my name to Uther (UH-ther) to shame me for having been a burden forced upon them. I was neglected each day and left to be by myself. On Gial’s first birthday the family gathered to celebrate as he got his first crab-stuffed creampuff. I was pushed aside as always. Something stirred inside of me that day as I watched him excitedly stare at his creampuff, especially since my own birthday had gone completely unacknowledged. I felt a surge that I had never felt before… in my mind I reached for that creampuff… and to everyone’s surprise the creampuff flew from Gial’s table into my hand! … That night a human from the Jedi consulate came to our home and took me away. I still remember the look of both shock and glee on the faces of my aunt and uncle—shocked I had a connection to the force, yet elated I would no longer be their burden. That Consular changed my name yet again by adding T’ a sign of restored honor. Today I am known as T’Uther (TUH-ther) Akbar, the healing Jedi. I walk through life following the Jedi Code. I walk through life with the faith that the Force can heal the pains of those viewed as burdens by others. I walk through life with the knowledge that sometimes to heal those that cannot heal themselves… pain and harm must be thrust upon others. Yet, above all, I know that with the Force I have both the power and ability to do just that, heal AND harm.
Motivation
Religion/Philosophy: The PC is an adherent of a particular religious order or set of teachings, or is a follower of a set of philosophical principles. Whatever it is, this set of beliefs moves him to serve the Alliance.
Faith (The Cosmic Force) - T'Uther understands on some level that everything is part of the cosmic force.
