Background
Hardship is nothing new to Saru Vapasi. Growing up in poverty with drug addict parents, he learned quickly how to take care of himself and his younger sister, Bryn Vapasi. He got a job as a mechanic on the shipyards, in order to save money and take him and his sister off planet to get a better life.
While he was working, he found out his parents died from an overdose of spice. He went home to pick up his sister and that's when he found out his parents sold his sister off to the local Hutts. He went to the Hutt to inquire about buying her back and it was going to cost 150,000 credits to get her back.
It would take years to save up the money as a shipyard mechanic. He heard about the Black Sun and that they pay their members well. He needed to join, but the Black Sun only takes new members through invitation. He needed to make a name for himself. So he started doing odd jobs and various contracts around Tatooine. He eventually joined a ragtag group of outlaws on a job for Teemo the Hutt, but the jobs goes south and they find themselves on the run.
