Bastila was born 21 BBY, during the Clone Wars she lived on the planet of Naboo, she was raised by a rich family in the city of Theed and didn't see anything about the transition from the Republic to the Empire. The Empire was all that she knew, so when she was old enough she went to the Royal Imperial Academy on Coruscant due to her parents being able to provide her with all that she could wish for and having enough credits to send her to such an Academy. During her training in the Academy, she was trained in specialised combat after being singled out by the officers as a prodigy.
As soon as she left the Academy she was offered positions that would guarantee her rise in the Empire, A few months after graduating from the Academy, she went back to the Imperial Academy on Coruscant to become an officer and further solidified her place in the empire which lead to her becoming a Second Lieutenant. She was always sympathetic to the rebellion but kept it to herself while she was in the Academy as it would have gotten her kicked out, her view on them was that they were a freedom fighting force when she first heard of their endeavours, when they started to appear more frequently she saw through the imperial propaganda against them.
After becoming an officer in the Empire she was tasked by Lord Vader into hunting down Rogue Jedi that he called enemies of the Empire, due to her high aptitude in combat, she was sent to fulfil the tasks of the Sith Lord.

Bastila is driven by an ambition to learn the force in any way that she can, even if she isn't force sensitive, as soon as she was sent on missions to find Jedi and their artifacts she was instantly intrigued by what their knowledge had to offer.
She also has a strong hatred of all slavery that she comes across, ever since she joined the Empire, she was disgusted by their use of slavery and enslavement of alien species, she is driven to liberate the slaves of the Empire in her own way due to her still being loyal to the ones who enslave them.

Bastila is always on the hunt for Jedi Artifacts and Force Knowledge that will allow her more insight into the religion of the old republic that she had heard so much about. At whatever chance she gets she collects the ancient knowledge of the dead "religion" they call it now.

Bastila is always described as fair both in complexion and how people saw her. She has Golden eyes and Long brown hair that she ties up in the back. She is 5'8 with a slim build but makes up for it with her agility. On her missions, she wears a black hooded cape/cloak with a golden outfit inspired by Jedi from before the Ruusan Reformation.
