Dahlia was born on a Pantoran Colony on the lone moon of Norhees. A peaceful satellite located on the edges of the unknown territories. Due to the remote isolation of the moon, her Force Sensitivity went undetected by the Jedi.

When she was barely a teenager, she woke to the sounds of explosions and flashes of Laser Cannon fire. When she looked to the skies, she saw a fierce (albeit small) battle in the stars above.

The events that followed were a blur for her, but the Sith proved victorious and in the aftermath, she was discovered by a Pureblood named Lord Kost and spirited away to Korriban to begin her training in the Dark Side of the Force. She does not remember what happened to her father, and brothers (Ferro and Ganimus [twins]), but Kost's explanation led her to believe they were dead.

To Kost's delight, Dahlia proved to be highly intelligent and insatiably curious. She learned the fundamentals quickly and soon sequestered herself in the archives to learn all she could of the Force. It was in her isolation she learned of Sith Alchemy and its ability to create and alter life.

Meanwhile, her time at the academy was not nearly as enjoyable as the time spent in seclusion. She did not seem to feel the need to prove her self like her fellow acolytes, and tried her best to avoid standing out.

However, she did find the company of one other that she enjoyed. Kit Kelborn was a human who was roughly the same age as her. He had the same drive as the other acolytes, but showed a large measure of self-restraint. They often hung out together outside of lessons where she would share her theories on Alchemy and he would help her in her Saber training.

It was the final exam, and the students were sent to enter the ancient Sith tomb of Feraal Ashad. The end goal was to collect an ancient Sith Artifact deep within the labyrinth of trapped rooms, Dark Side vergences, foul creatures, and more modern surprises set up by the Lords and Darths of the Academy.

The students were to enter one at a time in order based on their performance that year. Dahlia went last, but she didn't mind. She had hoped the artifact would be found before she even set foot inside. She didn't care about failure or success, she just wanted to get back to her studies. She was disappointed.

By design, the students had grown ambitious and hungry for glory over the year and it boiled to a climax in the trial. She was beset upon at every corner by classmates attempting to sabotage her or worse: outright attacks. It was growing clear to her that the whole of the temple wanted her to fail or to die.

So intense were the horrors and shock of what was happening to her, that she grew to doubt herself and her beliefs. When the accident happened, she was already wounded and fatigued.

An explosion deep within the bowels the temple caused a collapse in several of the rooms. But the Force was with her, she managed to avoid most of the damage and even noticed a hidden passage that was uncovered by the collapse.

To her delight, it turned out to be a hidden exit. She was about to follow it to safety when she saw Kit among the rubble. His wounds were not immediately fatal, but left alone without treatment, he would surely die. She did what no Sith in her class would have done and pulled him out the rubble and gave him a Kalto Patch for his wounds. She told him that she was leaving - the temple AND the academy - and begged him to join her. He was furious at the idea, but was too weak to fight her. So he left him there in that room and took the exit alone.

Months later, she arrived on Tython and was brought before the high council. She explained who she was and what she had done. Many of the council members did not wish her to join the Order, but in the end, she was allowed to train as a padawan. Only the high council knows that Dahlia was once a Sith. The felt that it would sow doubt and distrust among the order and the padawans if they knew a former Sith had joined the Order.

Quest: Redemption
Dahlia has turned her back on the Dark Side and seeks to pursue a life with meaning and worth.

Dahlia has learned and lived the tenants of the Dark Side, but when it came down to make the ultimate gesture of her devotion to the Dark Side, she found she didn't have the strength. She later joined the Order and began to challenge her own beliefs. It's because of her past and current lives, she has a unique perspective on ethics. However, when pressed in uncertainty, she falls back on written laws and code.

Dahlia is on the shorter side of average height by human female standards. She has long hair that naturally curls a bit. Her skin is pale blue accented by gold markings on her face. and her eyes are a brilliant shade of amber. Although she isn't the amorous type, she also does not particularly care to cover her body to the extent of her peers. This is but one way she challenges the Jedi Order.

The only other notable feature to this Pantoran woman is a long staff she caries that looks like a combination of gathered scrap and naturally warped and gnarled durasteel.
