Background
Xan'dil Chbat was always told that he would have the potential to change lives... But it always left him so curious as to why he grew up in an orphanage with other children, being told that his parents would return to him eventually. As he grew up, his isolation only increased as he realized that it was up to him to survive on his own or to fall like others have.
By 16, He left the orphanage on his own, jumping from job to job in order to survive the day. He grew a fondness for technology, always finding it so fascinating how, despite the technological advances that they had, they still could not solve the hunger crisis in his world. He ran into an old shopkeeper of sorts, who called himself Joela. Xan'dil could tell that there was something different about him, something mystical... And that was when he found out that his mentor was once a part of an ancient group of peacekeepers, called the Jedi Order. He learned about their rise, how they once were fabled to be great heroes in the days of old... Things spoken in hushed whispers amongst the other orphans as myths- legends. Joela took him under his wing, teaching him the ways of the Jedi... Though the combat itself was still difficult to grasp, using the force itself came fairly natural to Xan'dil. He finally felt. . Needed, important.
And it all went away when the Empire stormed their shop.
His master fought valiantly to protect Xan'dil, saying the same phrase that once damned him. "You have the power to change the lives of those around you, if you trust in the force."
On his own once again at 22, he went out with a calling. He had strange dreams surrounding recent events, and... Events that seem far in the distant future. Something beckoning him to come, and yet remaining hidden.
