Description
The user's actions empower themself or sap strength from their foes.

Ebb: When the Force user makes a skill check, they may roll an Ebb power check as part of the roll. The user may spend 1 Destiny Point to suffer 1 Strain, then inflict 1 Strain on all other engaged characters. The Force user may not activate this multiple times.

Flow: When the Force user makes a skill check, they may roll a Flow power check as part of the roll. The user may spend 1 Destiny Point to heal 1 Strain. The Force user may not activate this multiple times.

The User may spend 1 Destiny Point to move one object of Silhouette 0 that is within range up to their maximum range. The default maximum range is Short range (May not be activated multiple times).

Description
The Force user may attempt to guide, shape, and even twist the thoughts and feelings of others.

The user may spend 1 Destiny Point to stress the mind of one living target they are Engaged with, inflicting 1 Strain.

Special rule: when guiding and shaping thoughts, only Destiny Points generated from Dark Side may be used to generate negative emotions such as rage, fear, and hatred. Only Destiny Points generated from Light Side may be used to generate positive emotions such as peace, tranquility, and friendliness. Other emotions such as confusion can be generated from either Dark Side or Light Side.

Control The Force user may make an opposed Discipline vs. Discipline check combined with an Influence power check. If the user spends and succeeds on the check, they can force the target to adopt an emotional state or believe something untrue, lasting for one round or five minutes.

Background

The Down and Out
The player may decide that the character comes from humble or hardscrabble beginnings. Characters from this type of background strive to better themselves and do their utmost to escape their plight. The character either trains incessantly, picking up knowledge any way that they can, or simply is tough and resourceful enough to go out on their own.

Enemies and Antagonists
Simply put, the character rubbed someone the wrong way and found themself fleeing their former life.

Motivation

Religion/Spirituality
The character actively supports some religious or spiritual organization or belief. This could include the tenets of the Jedi or Sith codes or some other belief.

Obligations

Oath (5)
The character has sworn some sort of oath that dictates their thoughts and actions, shaping their moral view of the world. This could be an oath to a deity, a way of living (such as the Jedi Code), or a willingness to sacrifice for the betterment of some group or cause. Whatever the case, the Oath should be both serious and make life difficult in some ways for the character. It is a personal and deep undertaking, possibly without a truly obtainable end goal in sight. Characters who do not live up to this oath face an internal and moral struggle.

Criminal (10)
The character has a criminal record, or was accused of a crime (perhaps one they didn't even commit), and is somehow embroiled in the legal system. Obligation may be settled by paying ongoing legal costs, making attempts to bury evidence, or efforts to prove their innocence.
