Background
The only son of a powerful, respected and atypically responsible Devaronian chief executive and his equally formidable wife and co-leader, Jim acted more like the stereotypical member of his species than his parents would have liked. He wandered away from school for days or weeks at a time and rambled high and low through his native city-planet. He got through his studies well enough on solid intellect and tremendous raw shrewdness; his family suspected he would make a fine businessman if only he could be induced to focus on his inherited responsibilities (or anything for more than ten minutes at a time, for that matter).
The issue came to a head after his first year at one of the most expensive and exclusive business schools at the galaxy, when he was informed he would be working a summer internship at TaggeCo., which enjoyed a synergistic relationship with his parents' (in)famous weapons manufacturer. It wasn't so much the prospect of white-collar tedium that set Jim's teeth on edge, as the fact that he'd be a little cog in the Empire's soul-destroying machine of oppression. He'd seen some stuff on the ShadowNet: the Empire enslaving whole species, putting planets to the torch, torture, mass xenocide. It was pretty messed up, when you thought about it. Jim took some pocket money and a ticket for a ship off Coruscant, and disappeared.
It's been up and down since then, though he's taken up a rare school of stick fencing he discovered in the Expansion regions and that's pretty cool. It's like it flows without thought...
Motivation
Morality
Curiosity/Obsession. Jim still has a sense of enthusiasm and wonder at the vastness of the galaxy.. He can get overly fixated on his vocation-of-the-week. Current Score: 50
Description
Not as demonic-looking as most Devaronians, but a bit burlier.
