Once a proud Mandalorian warrior working in service of the Empire to finally bring about true peace to the sector of Mandalore, Khan Rook's story illustrates how far one can fall from grace. When a rebel strike consisting of Mandalorian warriors left Khan the only survivor of the local imperial garrison, and news of Clan Rook's new allegiance to the Rebellion spread, Khan was branded a traitor to the Empire.

However, before sentencing him to death, Imperial Command decided that the populous needed a reminder of who was in charge. Before his execution date, Khan was publicly stripped of his armor and rank and branded on the chest and face with the mark of Clan Rook, a 'symbol of treason against the Empire', and was also made to watch as the Empire slowly destroyed the armor that he and generations before him had worn with honor. (If you are familiar with the scene in Halo 2 where the Arbiter is branded a heretic and stripped of his armor and rank, think of it like that).

Something inside of Khan broke that day. He's still not totally sure how he managed to escape, only that he fought like an animal and it involved blood, lots of blood. Some of it was from the Stromtroopers and other security guarding his cell. And some was not. He tries not to think about that last part.

Now fueled by his hatred for the Empire and everything that it took from him, Khan swore that he would not rest until the Empire was crushed into oblivion. All the training as a Mandalorian, all the training under the Empire, it would all be put to use against it. The Rebellion just seemed like the fastest way to achieve that goal, as they had already destroyed the Death Star, and he was without his armor... for now.

Vengenace:
The Empire has committed an act the PC will never forgive. Every dead stormtrooper and every destroyed TIE fighter is another notch on his gun, marking his endless need to make them all pay. Such a motivation can lead to dangerous, even suicidal actions, especially if the PC doesn't find other feelings with which to temper it.

DUTY - Resource Acquisition
The Empire took everything from Khan. Now, he will take everything from them and use it against them. '[Their worlds] will burn until [their] surface is but glass!' - (Halo 3, Prophet of Truth)

Khan is not a large man, but is well-built and menacing enough that he never has to worry about others making fun of his lack of height. He has gray black hair and fiery orange eyes. Because of the brand on his right cheek, his mouth twists into a perpetual frown. He doesn't talk much, only when he needs to. He is also branded across his chest with the mark of Clan Rook.
