Background

"Doc" Hesta Mena was originally an indentured servant working for the Hutts and as such she knows that life is nasty, brutish, and short. She has seen more than her share of horror. She has seen violence and witnessed tremendous injustice done to the weak or vulnerable.
Despite (or because of] this harsh, early view of the universe, Hesta strives to better herself and do her utmost to escape her plight. Hesta trains incessantly, picking up knowledge any way that she can, and has been simply tough and resourceful enough to go out on her own.

Motivation

Expertise: Doc Mena wants to excel in as doctor and constantly practices to achieve perfection.

Obligations

Betrayal: Having betrayed Teemo the Hutt is no small task and he doesn't take betrayal lightly. Midway through her training to be a Doctor, one trained to restore or repair the surviving gladiators that fight for the Hutts' amusement, Hesta snuck off planet as a stow away on the Crate Fang. (Obligation +5).

Description

As a combat medic for the especially savage Hutt gladiatorial games, Hesta was required to constantly run into the dangerous environments, reach the wounded gladiator, stabilize her, and carry her off the field DURING the combat! Hesta's strength and durability made her uniquely qualified for this task. The Hutts have realized she is no longer with them, and even though she is replaceable, certain members of the Hutt Family stew over how to reward Hesta's betrayal.
