Background
Although born a slave Vek's intelligence was recognized early and he was trained to repair Zorge the Hutt's many droid servants. After years of looking for his oportunity to escape Vek was given the task of repairing badly damaged HK-50 droid. While working on the droid he realized it was a special 4n sub type built for melee combot. He repaired the droid but also programed it to be loyal to him alone. He then calmly walked down a path of mangle bodies that his new friend cleared to a ship. Once on the ship they found there was already someone on board. A human named Vin, escaped with the pair once he convinced them he was not with the Hutt's crew.
