Description
Spend a pip to sense the current emotional state of one living target with whom he is Engaged or to sense all living things within Short range.
Upgrade Effect
Control Spend, pip. The Force user senses the current thoughts of one living target with whom he is Engaged.

Background

Born on Mirial, Magnus was taken in by the Jedi at an early age and lived a traditional Jedi life until the Mandalorian Wars. He was selected by the Jedi Master Icoman Bottos, a staunch opposer of the Jedi involvement in the fight against the Mandalorians, as a padawan. Bottos was Jedi Temple Guard for the main temple on Coruscant and Magnus took up that mantle as well. For the remainder of the Mandalorian Conflict, Magnus alternated between working inside the Jedi Temple of Coruscant and going on assignment outside the temple dealing with internal Jedi matters such as tracking down rogue Jedi, missing Jedi and Sith artifacts from the Covenant crisis, and looking for those killed Jedi, outside of those who died in the war. With the end of the Mandalorian War, Magnus began spending more and more time at the Jedi Temple as the remaining Jedi who returned from fighting the war were able to take over many of the duties the temple guard had assumed, though special assignments do still come in.

Motivation

Oath - Justice - Magnus is dedicated to making sure no good deed goes unrewarded and no bad one unpunished. Magnus has a strict code of honor alongside his innate sense of right and wrong that guides his actions and response to others, Magnus is deeply committed to the very idea of justice and lets nothing stand in the way.
