Background

Born on Ryloth to parents who served as traders at Kaala’uun (a large spaceport). At a young age they noted that something was different about their daughter, and had her sent to join the Jedi Order almost immediately. They claim it was to secure a better life for her, however they were obviously frightened of the strange abilities.

Was raised with the other Jedi younglings, and took to the more spiritual side of training, finding solace in the teachings of peace and living in the moment. Felt very strongly that the teachings about the light side would bring peace and meaning. Always felt vaguely sad about not having her family or home, and never heard anything from her family or clan after she was sent away. Did take Twi’lekk as an elective, but not truly fluent (equivalent of having an accent most likely).

Due to her strength in the force was assigned to Master Yaddle since she was thought to be a good match with their similar peaceful natures. As the Jedi started to become used more as soldiers, rather than peacekeepers Ailatsita became uncomfortable with this new role and began to speak out about it. She felt that it was upsetting the balance that the Jedi had worked a thousand years to achieve and would endanger countless Jedi into falling into the Dark Side of the force.

Has frequently talked about her desire for the Jedi to instead serve across both sides of the conflict to help the people being impacted by the fighting, and being more active in preventing the atrocities of the war. When the Jedi Order gave her a choice between becoming a full fledged Knight and having to serve, or being thrown out of the Order she said she said there was no choice, and left.

She felt lost and alone, having lost the only people and places she had ever known as home, but decided she would have to do her own thing - which failed horrendously. Eventually the Jedi offered a compromise, she would not be officially associated with the Order, but they would possibly reinstate her if she did some non-official work. Seeing it as a chance to help people, without participating in the conflict she accepted.

Emotional strength: Compassion - Cares about the tribulations others face, and wants to help those she comes across. Her compassion may lead to self-sacrifice in order to aid those who need it.
Emotional weakness: Hatred - The galaxy can be a cruel and heartless place and compassion can quickly turn to hatred of the individuals or situations that cause others to suffer. When her mind roils with simmer hatred, that may be all to slow to fade.
