Background

A former officer in the Republic Navy, Tanell Akin proved his skills at commanding a ship in the Clone Wars. When the Republic became the Empire, Tanell was part of a fleet that was patrolling his homeworld, but was quickly stripped of rank and sent to the surface after the Imperial military subjugated the planet. Making his way to the local resistance, he lent his military prowess to their forces, until the planet was freed. He now puts his military mind and his skills in warship combat to use for the Rebel Alliance.

Motivation

Belief/The Republic - Tanell served the Republic for many years, even before the Clone Wars. He believes in what the Republic represented and stood for, and sees the Empire as a twisted shell of the Republic that must be cleared away for the Republic's ideals to be restored.

Duties

Space Superiority (345 Points) - Tanell is an expert warship commander, and is most at home in fleet battles. Attacking enemy capital ships, eliminating starfighters, he is always focused on securing dominance over a region of space.

Description

Tanell Akin is a Male Mon Calamari, age 57, who stands at 6' tall with an average build. He possesses a darker skin tone than most Mon Calamari, being a dark blue as opposed to the standard salmon color, and yellow eyes.

He wears a variant of the standard Alliance Military Uniform, colored in dark blue.

General Purpose character adapted for Sector Force Lantilles.

Intended as one of two primary eventual replacements for if Takeshi Yamato ever leaves the setting through retirement or death.
