4NY-B0-DE is a Cybot Galactica TC-SC Series Droid purchased and modified by the Imperial Security Bureau. He was deployed, impersonating the captured Black Market Dealer Yandor Wessex, in order to gather Intel on the location of the Rebel Base from which the to be identified buyer of Wessex weapons shipments operates. After acquiring the location of both the agreed exchange point as well as the ware storage from Wessex and transmitting them to the ISB, 4NY-B0-DE was given Wessexes confiscated equipment and was send on his way. Unbeknownst to the ISB, however Yandor Wessex managed to con the Comms-Officer of his Prison into relaying the message over a specific HoloNet Beacon which was monitored by Imperial Customs Officer and his long term enemy Anor Sedrall. Sedrall mistook the cryptic message as Wessex trying to communicate the location of the exchange to the customer and put together a task force to arrest him.
The actual exchange went as chaotic as expected with 4NY-B0-DE getting shot and narrowly escaping capture by pretending to be a malfunctioning Droid someone left powered down in an ally. After the Dust settled the Droid managed to convince a pair of maintenance droids that he was one of the worker models they where supposed to repair. Even though the maintenance was successful the unauthorized tampering with the TC-SC Series triggered a safety memory wipe removing all memories about his mission objective or affiliation. Left only with his basic programming the recollection of the exchange and impersonation matrix 4NY-B0-DE started to consider impersonation of Yandor Wessex to be his primary objective.

When Undisguised 4NY-B0-DE resembled a vaguely bronze colored third degree droid having spindly limbs, an oversized head and a featureless faceplate containing two, red photoreceptors.
While diguised he could look like Anybody, though often times impersonating Yandor Wessex; a Caucasian Human Male in his late 50s; having shoulder long formerly dark blonde, now mostly white, hair; a slightly slim attractive face and stature with deep blue eyes and his signature smile surrounded by a stubby assortment of facial hair.
On top of that he is usually wearing Wessex's worn brown sun tanned leather coat, a formerly white now mostly beige Shirt with protective leather patches at the joints , a pair of wide dark olive cargo pants and a set of protective workers boots.
