Harrgun came from a family in good standing with the tribe on the Wookie home world of Kashyyyk. His father was an ex-soldier who left violence to become a farmer. He was set to follow in his father's footsteps when the Clone Wars happened. He volunteered for the front lines and found his calling in war. He exemplified everything a Wookie warrior was known for, power, ferocity, earth-shaking rage. He earned a name for himself as part of a commando unit across the galactic war front. After the war he managed to elude slavery in the mines on Kessel and the inhibitor chips implanted in most of his race by selling his services to the rich and powerful as a bodyguard or "fixer", quietly working towards freeing his people from their bondage.
