In 38 BBY on Neimoidia, Tub Pifdin was born to two prosperous Neimoidian Engineers. In 32 BBY, Due to the rising separatist activities, they sent their son to Coruscant, where he would spend his life under tutelage of two close human friends, Republic Representative Loran Durest and Lady Ona. Under their careful guidance, they made certain that Tub grew up in an accepting household, where he could learn philosophy, spirituality and politics. He attended local and galactic political debates with his adoptive father whenever the chance arose. Upon the outbreak of the clone wars in 22 BBY, Tub became furious with how Separatists wanted to disrupt the just and peaceful Republic. This is when he chose to enrol into a Political Science degree at the Coruscant College of Law. Although Tub was only 16 at the time, he excelled in his studies thanks to his adoptive parents.

When order 66 was declared this changed everything. The very republic that he had come to know and love was being dissolved. In 18 BBY he finished his education and took passage to the Outer Rims system, in hopes of finding a new purpose in the frontier. Tub had a knack for negotiation, so he became a skilled trader, and began dealing in exotic goods and items on Felucia, Gamorr, Tatooine and Utapau. He stuck to Outer Rim worlds because it yielded the best exotic items and treasures. In 7 BBY, Tub learned of the increasing rebel activity against the Empire. He decided to put his skill in negotiation and deception to good use, and joined the rebellion as a Diplomat. While he is fairly new in his role, his years of trading goods throughout the Outer Rim has taught him many things. Always keep a spare blaster, and always have a backup plan.
