Background
Ishtan comes from a core world family with a history of naval officers, back to the galactic republic and through the rise of the Empire. Ishtan quickly joined the naval academy but against his families wishes applied for star fighter deployment where he excelled as a pilot.
Motivation
Pride: Ishtan wants to prove to his family and to himself that he can reach great heights as a pilot and not a naval officer. He takes any duty that will increase his chances to advance.
