Background
Born in 38 BBY on the crystalline world of Cristophsis,to two proud parents Dufort Tetron (father) and Guise (mother),who were both part of the planet's wealthy upper class. His father was the planet's representative in the Galactic Senate. Given his family's status,Trian recieved all of the luxuries and education befitting nobility, thus he became entitled and vain through his early adolescence.
His parents however, were very politically active and they were among the first people who denounced the government's decision to side with the CIS at the beginning of the Clone Wars.
During the first occupation by Separatist forces,Dufort and Guise both funded and supported guerilla insurgencies across the planet, until the time they were discovered and subsequently executed by a battalion of Super Battle Droids while Trian looked on in horror. After this,he would always carry contempt and disdain for droids.
By the time the famous Clone Army came to liberate his home,16 year old Trian had already been humbled by the experience. He requested an audience with the General Kenobi, and asked to depart with him to the nearest Venator fleet. One week later he enlists in the Grand Army of the Republic.
As was the standard for non-clone Republic soldiers,he was mainly placed in defensive garrisons around the Core Worlds, far away from the fighting in the Outer Rim. Instead of the scrapping of clankers he promised himself before,he now only catered to the whims of diplomats, senators, and magistrates.
After four months had passed, the Republic Army finally admitted him to the Judicial academy, where he was then fast-tracked through to the Diplomatic Fleet, and given a Consular-class cruiser manned by 15 men. His job from here on out was to transport Jedi and diplomats across the galaxy.
Two years into the war,Trian saw his first battle; The Second Battle of Geonosis. There he proved his mettle as Captain and was praised by his peers in the Judicial forces. Kamino,Sullust,Felucia,Umbara and Onderon all came and went by faster than he thought they would, but he finally got to help retake Cristophsis that had fallen back under CIS control. His people welcomed him as a hero.
In the final days of the war,the Jedi were accused of treason, and Order 66 was executed. Trian had seen most of his Jedi Generals as honourable and kind,so he did not believe the new propoganda, though there was no reason to let that info get out.
Then the Empire was proclaimed, the New Order was established, and the Judicial Forces were incorporated into the Imperial Navy. Trian was promoted from Captain on a Consular ship to a Captain on a new Star Destroyer. His officer class now outranked the clones in the Stormtrooper core.
Trian was informed alongside his peers that the Separatist Council had dissolved, and the Droid Army was given the deactivation order. Now the Imperial Navy would turn to occupying former Separatist worlds. The reconquest of the rim had begun.
The two-year campaign was fairly simple and easy, since their opponents were left without a standing army to counter them. That fact did not stop his commanding officer from issuing unfathomably cruel commands, and executing brutal tactics. This culmimated in mass killings of civilians, and even genocide of entire races.
Having participated in these atrocities without fail,he was seen as an asset to the Empire and given several honour medals, but Trian knew deep down that he would never be able to face his parent's graves ever again. He was in too deep now,and his only shot at redemption was to minimize the cruelty wherever he went.
To climb the ranks in the Empire,he conspired against his commanding officer; Admiral Dachten, and had him killed. The investigation was turned over to the Judicial department, where he still had friends who covered it up. He then assumed command as Admiral of Dachten's old Star Destroyer.
There were several tens of thousands of Star Destroyers in the Imperial Fleet, and most of them were given a name by choice. Dachten called his ship the "Ravager",but Trian would rename it as the "Equalizer".
Five years into the new regime,24 year old Admiral Tetron was the youngest admiral in the fleet. His preferred style of command was firm but also lenient as he did not kill his subordinates as other commanders did. He wanted his subordinates to learn from their failures.
Seven years into the regime, there was an uprising on Kamino. Apperently the cloners decided to have their new batch bred to fight the Empire,so a special detachment of the 501st legion was dispatched there under the command of the bounty hunter Boba Fett. He lived up to his reputation and defeated them quickly and efficiently.
Trian had the Equalizer blockade the planet from orbit while Fett took his grunts down. After the conflict,Fett wanted to wipe out all the clones since they were mere rejects of his father. Trian overuled that and placed the remaining clones in obscure safety on a remote planet.
Nine years into the regime,he attended a meeting of governors, admirals and moffs from across the Empire. The host was none other than the Emperor Palpatine himself. Palpatine was introducing the Death Star project to all of military command, and boasting that upon its completion, even the Imperial Senate would be obsolete.
It was at this meeting where he met a man named Thrawn, who warned him and others of a distant threat looming big from the Unknown Regions. Supposedly The threat was dangerous enough for Palpatine to give Thrawn all he needed to fortify the Chiss Ascendancy. Trian just made a mental note.
Darth Vader was known to all Imperial officers as the Emperor's Fist, the rumour being that he carried Palpatine's authority and his wrath wherever he went. But the rumour paled in comparison to the evil mechanical monster standing before them.
Trian could tell Lord Vader was studying each and everyone of them silently for any sign of treason or duplicity. His dark visors fell on Trian longer than any other officer and all the others distanced themselves from him. He knew that could not mean anything good for him. Vader had singled him out.
