The son of a Republic Senator and a Theatre Diva, Andrek DeVries lived a life of privilege the early years of his life on his homeworld of Corfai, wanting for nothing. But he always felt uncomfortable with his place in life, when he saw so many others in need.

Help the Helpless: Andrek has a soft spot for the poor and weak, especially children. While normally a quiet, almost grumbling man - he usually brightens up around children and those in distress, and can be both soft-spoken and supportive, while also being a fierce defender.

Strength: Compassion. Andrek has always been drawn to the sick, the needy, the poor. His gruff exterior hides a deeply caring man who would gladly give it all to save someone deserving in need.

Weakness: Hatred. Andrek despises those who prey on the weak and downtrodden, and struggles at times to not give in to anger or violence.

A middle aged human with brownish/grey hair and a beard, Andrek DeVries is fairly non-descript. He usually dressed in heavy street clothes - usually just a normal pair of pants and a shirt, but along with a heavy jacket with lots of pockets and clips. He carries a heavy satchel that contains his medical supplies, and his pockets are usually full of stimpacks, bacta charges, and candies (for children). His wrinkled face usually has an expression of disinterest or disdain, but it softens as he works on his charges.
