Background
As a young child, she was raised by both of her parents. One was a Computer's Mechanic, and the other a Medical Specialist, so she learned both of the skills and eventually started merging them as she grew older, becoming something of a Cybertech. Though she specialized more in installing them, rather than making them.
Around the age of Ten, her mother became the Duchess of their clan, taking her away from their family structure as she spent what little time she wasn't a doctor running the clan's structure. Finmi resented her mother slightly, but the council more for not choosing someone that had less responsibilities already or someone who could dedicate their all to being the Duchess. This caused her to become somewhat of an outcast within her own clan, with the exception of one friend who helped her see that her mother was the best possible choice.
Before she could apologize to her mother, the Rakata found her clan. Her mother went to parley with the Rakata, and was able to reach an agreement. They would survive, but the clan would once again serve the Infinite Empire. Luckily enough, the Praetor put in charge of the Drall was the Advocate, and the clan was allowed to continue in some form, but enough were left for the clan to continue.
The next few years were a blur for her, but the Rakata saw use in Finmi's ability to modify and create computer's and communications programs, and made sure to cultivate her skills so that she could serve the empire in the best possible way. When Finmi finally realized where she was in the world, she cursed that the liberty she had known as a child was gone, and that she needed to get it back, as well as figure out what had happened to the rest of her Clan.
After some time, Finmi was put onto a CorSec as a Communications and Medical Specialist. It was at this time that she learned that her mother had been chosen to be a representative for the Slave's Congress put together by Praetor Varris.
