Background

Kora was an orphan, her biological parents having died mere weeks after she was born, and she grew up on the streets with only her given name before she was taken in by a wandering mercenary. Not just any mercenary, though—the one who took her in was a Mandalorian, a woman named Jude Starfield, who soon adopted Kora, letting the young girl take her family name.

Jude was a former member of the Death Watch, who had grown disillusioned with how they had become nothing more than thugs, warlords, and bandits. She had heard the stories of their past, of Mandalore the Preserver and other great leaders in their history, and knew the Mandalorians were meant to be more. Honorable warriors, willing to fight for money if needed, but to see a contract through to the end, and moreover, to protect Mandalore and its people.

Jude taught Kora how to fight like a Mandalorian, both on the ground and in the cockpit of a starfighter, though Kora was more at home in the cockpit. When Kora turned 18, and had learned all Kora could teach her, Jude performed a small ceremony, naming Kora a true Mandalorian, not just a child of the Mandalorian teachings, and sent her off into the galaxy to find her way in the galaxy.

For the next three years, Kora fought as a mercenary pilot, striving to maintain the honor of her adopted heritage as she moved from job to job. She has flown several different starfighter types, and has not found any one fighter to suit her tastes just yet. But as she fights for whoever is willing to hire her, she knows she will find it soon...

Motivation

Conflict/Professional - Kora does not fight for any particular ideal (aside from maintaining her honor as a Mandalorian, at least). She fights because it is what she knows, and it is how she will make her way in the galaxy.

Obligations

Oath (15 Points) - Kora has sworn an oath to her adoptive mother, to fight honorably, to never turn back on a contract until it is done, and to bring glory and pride to the Mandalorian name.

Criminal (10 Points) - The Fang Fighter Kora has acquired has a checkered past, and that has transferred over to her.

Space Superiority Duty (10 Points) - Kora is a versatile space pilot, though space is indeed her focus. Be it dogfighting to defend a ship or facility, or attacking opposing capital ships or facilities, she puts her full effort into her objective.

Description

Kora is a human woman, standing at 5'4" with a slender figure. She has dark brown hair that comes down to her shoulders, and blue eyes.

She normally wears her personal armored flight suit, colored dark green with yellow trim. She does not have 'proper' Mandalorian Armor - the last personal test that her adoptive mother Jude gave her before they parted company was to find or forge a set of Mandalorian Armor for herself...
