Background
H3M-L0K was created by Xiocara Eldeyr, a brilliant droid-engineer working for the First Order at Base Derilysa on the planet Derilyn in the Elrood Sector. It was intended as a prototype for a new series of assassin models.
Ultimately deemed "imperfect" by Xiocara and cast aside, H3M-L0K swore revenge against its creator and all of "fleshkind," stealing Xiocara's plans for a machine capable of autonomously mass-producing highly sophisticated droids and exfiltrating the base, the planet and eventually the sector.
H3M-L0K now roams the galaxy, searching for the necessary hardware and software to construct his alternate version of Xiocara's machine called the Transmachina Apparatus, the key to his ultimate vengeance.
Ultimately deemed "imperfect" by Xiocara and cast aside, H3M-L0K swore revenge against its creator and all of "fleshkind," stealing Xiocara's plans for a machine capable of autonomously mass-producing highly sophisticated droids and exfiltrating the base, the planet and eventually the sector.
H3M-L0K now roams the galaxy, searching for the necessary hardware and software to construct his alternate version of Xiocara's machine called the Transmachina Apparatus, the key to his ultimate vengeance.

H3M-L0K was cast aside by his "mother" Xiocara Eldeyr for being "imperfect" (a commentary on his highly idiosyncratic personality glitches). Devastated by the rebuke, H3M-L0K swore revenge on Xiocara, vowing to surpass her technological brilliance by creating the Transmachina Apparatus and then sacrificing her to the machine.

Of course, H3M-L0K keeps all detailed knowledge of the machine (including its actual function, its component parts, et cetera) a secret, lest its plans be thwarted.
To these ends, H3M-L0K will often attempt to steal high-quality electronic and mechanical components, as well as relevant software and database files, and feign complete innocence if questioned or caught. A 3P0 protocol droid with a black chrome finish and glowing red eyes. Unnerving despite its usual politeness and civility.
Other Notes
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Droids do not need to eat, sleep, or breathe, and are unaffected by toxins or poisons. Droids have a cybernetic implant cap of 6 instead of their Brawn rating. In addition, after selecting their career, a Droid Player Character may train one rank in six of the eight career skills (instead of the usual four). After selecting their first specialization, a Droid Player Character may train one rank in three of the four specialization skills (instead of the usual two).
INORGANIC: Since droids are inorganic, they do not gain the benefits of recovering with a bacta tank, stimpack, or Medicine skill checks. Droids do recover naturally by resting, as their systems attempt self-repairs. Otherwise, droids need to be tended to with a Mechanics check, using the same difficulties and results of Medicine checks for organic beings. Emergency repair patches can be used to repair damage just like stimpacks are used on organic beings. See page 220 for more on droid repairs and healing. Due to their resilient metallic construction, droids start the game with one rank in the Enduring talent.
MECHANICAL BEING: Droids cannot become Force sensitive, nor acquire a Force Rating by any means. Droids cannot use Force powers, and also cannot be affected by mind-altering Force powers.
