I, Zent was born on Correlia, I joined The Imperial military young, I barely graduated the academy. I and the platoon I was part of, was deployed on Devoran to fight rebels.
We were ambushed they killed two of our squads making us retreat but I was pinned down by hostile blaster fire, my friend Gret rushed in firing but he was shot down, in rage I jumped up rushing the enemy as fast as I could taking down a rebel with my fists and distracting the others, then the other two squads marched in guns blazing and made the rebels fall back, After that we started heading back to one our outposts.
I met Gerond there he said he was tempted to defect and asked me if I was, I said yes and so that night he made a plan and we escaped. I stole a T-5 Deliverance vessel and flew off escaping the empire, but the problem is their was a rebel patrol that night and Deveronians are known for their piloting like Correlians and that means most of the pilots are Deveronian I kept trying to out maneuver them but they stayed on target, I knew there was only one thing I could do I flew back into orbit of the planet where the rebels followed which almost immediately two TIE fighters flew in and started attacking the rebels which gave me and Gerond time to fly into space with a hyperspace route already plotted out and we blasted off in hyperspace.
Now there are three major things I owe Gerond a favor for helping me, I am a criminal now for defecting, and I am riding in an imperial supply ship, well I dropped Gerond off on Toydaria because he wants to make his way with the Hutts. Now all I have to do is to go to some backwater world and sell this ship.
