Ouri - (an Omwati) female. Ouri was plucked away from her planet at the age of 7 along with her best friend. They were abducted by the Arkanians and taken to their planet, for observation and experimentation. The Arkanians had a vast secret compound for genetic experimentation where they brought abducted children of many different species, all under the age of 8. Ouri was separated from her best friend after a few years on the planet, and Ouri was spared experimentation and used by the Arkanians due to her highly mathematical and scientific mind. She became very good at doing what the Arkanians asked her to so that she could gain more status and privileges. Over time she discovered that her best friend had been sent out as a spy to other planets to find additional species for the Arkanian experiments. Finally, she was given an opportunity to be sent out as a spy also. She volunteered right away hoping it was the answer to her freedom from this planet and also her chance to find her best friend. The problem is that she has no idea what she is looking for since her friend could have been changed in appearance since she last saw her 8 years ago. And the change may not be just due to maturing into an adult. She could have been altered due to experimentation.

She is driven by a cause. She feels great anger toward the Arkanian because she has seen so many young children of differing species plucked away from their planets and used for experimentation. She wants to find her friend, L’opu who was abducted the same day she was because she knows that L’Opu worked very closely with the Arkanian, earning special privileges and probably knows some of their weaknesses as she herself has learned over the past 17 years. She is also using her perception and charm to win over others to get them to join her on this cause.

Responsibility - Ouri feels a strong connection to her childhood friend and wants to find her.
