Background
Korr Moted was discovered to have been exceptionally strong in the Force even before he hatched. When this was discovered by a Jedi friend of Korr’s parents, they willingly gave Korr’s egg to the Order, excited at the prospect of their child becoming a Jedi. During training, Korr was never told who his parents were, nor who their Jedi friend was, and as such was raised completely unmoored from his past.
As an initiate, he was a studious child with impressive tenacity who showed a keen interest in history early on, and was encouraged to study on his own in the Jedi Archives in his spare time. Here, he learned elements of the Makashi lightsaber form, which he applied elements of to his still basic fighting style with surprising success without being taught them by anyone, basing his application entirely on ancient theory.
When time came to find a Master for Korr, the Council deemed it necessary to find one proficient in this anachronistic lightsaber form, and they were in short supply. It was suggested that Lut Ponn, a Jedi Knight and acclaimed historian, would be an ideal Master for Padawan Moted, despite her not yet having attained the formal rank of Jedi Master. Having trained with Lut Ponn for a little over two years now, Korr is nearing the completion of his apprenticeship, and his assignment to Master Cuthus’ recently established special task force is by all accounts an informal test of his abilities in preparation for the Jedi Trials.
Motivation
Personal ambition: Enlightenment
Korr seeks spiritual and intellectual enlightenment above all else. To him, this is an innately personal journey, so he does not believe that it is his place to bring enlightenment to others.
Faith: Goodness of People
To Korr Moted, the Galactic Republic is nothing without the desire to do good. He does not fight for the institution of the Republic as much as he fights for the idea of people coming together to create a galactic civilisation that is more than the sum of its parts.
Morality
Discipline: Rigorous mental and physical discipline comes naturally to Korr. He does not make choices rashly, and every action is precise and selected. Those who think they can goad him into making foolish choices are sorely mistaken.
Obstinance: Korr may fall into the trap of simple stubbornness if he is not careful. He can often refuse to consider any course of action other than the one he chooses, unwilling to accept that someone else may have conceived of a better option.

Description
Korr Moted is a teal-skinned Nautolan, dressed in heavily layered orange and brown coloured Jedi attire. He is about 1.87m in height and of slender build, his clothing hiding his athletic build whenever he is wearing his long robe. In lieu of a padawan’s braid, he has a short string of woven fibre and beads attached to one of the tendrils on his head.
By most standards, he is considered relatively good-looking, although his demeanour is somewhat intense. It is clear that he takes his Jedi training seriously.
