Taena Senday is a 21-year-old Rutian Twi'lek and former slave who escaped and now roams the Outer Rim as a smuggler, rescuing other Twi'leks from slavery and sabotaging their owners in the process (Motivation: Cause).

Born Sufira Farr, she was sold to a Hutt on Felucia at age 12. She made her first escape attempt at 15, but lost her left arm at the shoulder to a carnivorous plant and had to be rescued by her owners. She was fitted with a minimally functional prosthetic arm and put to work in warehouses, storerooms, garages, anywhere where no one had to look at her.

After she fought back against another slave's unjust punishment, she was sent to Nar Shaddaa where the Hutts could keep an eye on her. There, she encountered exiled Jedi Thouridos, who was tracking a Force-sensitive slave hunted by the Empire. Having heard of her reputation as a troublemaker, he enlisted her help in freeing the slave.

It was also on Nar Shaddaa that she was reunited with her sister Chami, who had been sold after Sufira, and together they began to plot their escape. A merchant agreed to smuggle her and Chami offworld, but when Chami didn't make the rendezvous, Sufira made the decision to leave without her.

Sufira began calling herself Taena and made herself a career as a smuggler, starting with the drugs she'd stolen from her masters when she escaped. Four years later, she still doesn't know what happened to her sister, but it's the guilt of leaving her behind that drives her to rescue as many as possible (Obligation: Betrayal), and screw over as many gangsters and crime bosses as she can in the process.

During that time she met (Amy's character), a visiting Doctor, whom she teamed up with to rescue several Twileks from experimentation. As payment, the doctor installed a new cybernetic arm, which Taena has enhanced over the years. Unfortunately the job got them both stuck with bounties.
