Background

BX-1566248-3R was recommissioned by the separate army's refurbishment program. However during reassembly his control unit was not installed properly resulting in BX-3R's ability to act freely. this became known to him when he murdered his CO in an act of whimsy. after fleeing the system BX-3R found himself without cash, resorting to scavenging and leveraging his skills as a bounty hunter in order to fund his continued function.

Motivation

Freedom: BX-3R wants to make the most of his newfound freedom exploring the stars without being harassed by other bounty hunters.

Money is a significant motivator for BX-3R. He usually gets his credits from scavenging and bounty hunting.

BX-3R believes that droids should be accepted as full members of galactic society, if only to benefit himself.

while BX-3R likes the strain of hunting down a target or navigating a dangerous situation, its not worth dying for, and he tries to plan accordingly.
