Teruth grew up on his species home world of Cerea, a lush paradise mostly untouched by the ravages of industrialization and technology. A relatively care-free childhood, Teruth spent his time exploring the outside environment and at the same time the insides of machines. On his 18th birthday, he decided to sign on as an engineer for a freighter to see the greater galaxy. But every port they landed at, every industrialized planet they flew past, Teruth learned the truth of the galaxy - A tyrannical regime exerted it's influence at the cost of the people and the environment, and in his opinion, they needed to be stopped.

Freedom - Teruth has seen the tyranny of the Empire, the pain, the suffering, the smog filled industrial cities churning out resources for the Empire. Everyone deserves to live a decent life, and the Empire is in the way of that.

Resource Acquisition - Teruth knows that wars are won by effective supply lines. People get hungry; Ships need repairs, maintenance and fuel. Without the supplies to back up the rebellion it is doomed to fail before it's even started.
