Background
Born to a stable, middle-class Balosar family, Carnal Sol grew up valuing order, discipline, and survival. Seeking purpose and advancement, he enlisted in the military, where his sharp perception and reliability quickly set him apart. During a covert supply operation that crossed legal lines, his commanding officer used him as a scapegoat, falsifying records and pinning the blame on Carnal to protect his own career.
Convicted and sent to a remote prison, Carnal learned how authority truly works—and how easily it betrays those beneath it. He escaped during a chaotic transfer and vanished into the Outer Rim. With no home to return to and no faith in institutions, he turned to piracy, using his military training and knowledge of patrol tactics to survive.
Now Carnal lives ship-to-ship, trusting only what he can verify, avoiding uniforms, and keeping multiple exit plans. He isn’t cruel, but he has little patience for authority—and an even longer memory for betrayal.
Motivation
Military-
When the war broke out, the PC's unit, which was serving a specific planet or other political entity, was transferred directly to the Alliance Forces. His immediate command structure may have stayed relatively intact, but the upper echelons now answer to the Alliance High Command. The variety of locations (and food) makes it interesting, at least.
Duties
5 - Sabotage
The largest and most powerful military force in the history of the galaxy is also the most vulnerable to acts of destruction and asset denial. The character is focused on disrupting material operations in any way possible, whether it's the manufacture of weapons, troop movements, supply shipments, banking systems, or any other key operation, in order to make the Empire act more slowly and less capably. Truly showy acts of destruction also work to erode a population's will to support the Empire, or so the PC often believes (though the Alliance expressly forbids acts of actual terrorism).
