After her betrayal by the mercenary group she grew up in, she traveled for a time with an ex-ARC trooper and a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66, taking on merc jobs whenever they could get them. After a couple years she and Kal, the Jedi, fell in love. After more than a decade, the group split up to follow different ends. Shock began a rebel cell, but Zel didn't like the idea of fighting for free and refused to go along with it. Kal left while the two of them were arguing one night and she hasn't heard from him since. She doesn't even fully know why he left. She met with some initial success and managed to secure the backing of someone with deep pockets and a willingness to sit back and let her do her job.
One of her earliest recruits, a Mandalorian, became one of her most trusted lieutenants and his input is highly valued.


Conflict: Blood Money
Mercenary work has been her life for as long as she can remember. She was brought off the streets and adopted into an organization that raised her. Even when that organization betrayed her, she still did the same work. Even when it caused her friends to leave her, she still did the same work. She'll do this work until she dies, or, more likely, it kills her.
Relationship: Lost Love
Kal left her over her conflict with Shock and determination to get deeper into a line of work he wasn't keen on. She greatly regrets driving him away and is looking for any information that could lead her to him.


Debt: To the man who funds her organization. He expects results and profit, and failing that, repayment. If she can't make enough money with the organization, she'll be paying him herself, one way or another.
