Background

1. How did I discover my Force Sensitivity?
A. Why, I was practicing it's use before I even came to you all. I would always have these dreams each night when I went to bed, and they were so real, so vivid. Inevitably they came true, so I started to act upon them and circumvent the more, disastrous consequences.

2. Describe a moment you fell prey to your moral weakness or experienced a tragedy/horror that still haunts you
A. I fell prey to my hatred when I failed to protect the woman I loved. I saw her death but wasn't able to prevent it. When I found out she'd been defiled and brutalized before being killed I tracked down the one responsible. He didn't receive a fair trial, or court justice, no, I killed him myself, and truth be told, I liked it.

3. How did I come to join the NJO?
A. I often kept my ear to the ground, even during the days of the Empire. I knew of the Rebellion, and I aided them whenever I could. I even got to hear tales of the legendary Luke Skywalker before I had the honor of meeting him in person. On a hunch, after my, incident, I went to Yavin IV and there you all were.

4. Name an NPC I have a strong connection with.
A. My family back home in the upper levels of Coruscant. Though I suppose I'm even closer with my little sister Lin. She is such a sweet girl, and I tried my hardest to be a dependable older brother to her. I wasn't able to become a member of the Senate, but perhaps I can make her proud through my acts as a Jedi.

5. Describe a moment I demonstrated my moral strength despite adversity.
A. During my campaign to becoming a Senator, I had a speech scheduled within the lower levels of Coruscant. These levels were far more dangerous, and it was even the same level where she was murdered. While I had never been officially caught, the man I killed had friends who knew, and tried to take my life. Despite their attempts, I did not allow myself to be overcome with that hatred again, I stuck through the speech, and I even distributed some relief supplies to those who had attended.

Motivation

Help the Helpless - As someone who has never wanted for anything, Pavis will not claim to understand the struggles of those who have less than he does, less than he did. If he can alleviate those struggles even just a little bit, through words, actions, or both, he will do it. Pavis wants to see a world where criminality no longer exist, where people don't have to commit acts of violence against one another just to survive.

Morality

Compassion/Hatred (60) - Pavis is a man of great compassion and empathy for the plights of others. Being born into the upper nobilities of Coruscant, Pavis has seen many of the trials and tribulations suffered by those below him. When he was campaigning to become a Senator he had made many promises to help the despondent stuck within the lower levels of Coruscant. On the opposite side of the coin he absolutely abhors the criminals, the depraved, those who commit evil and do it without lack of conscience. These are the types of people that have no place in the world, and should be eradicated for the sake of others.

Family (10) - Pavis feels a strong connection to his family back on Coruscant. He feels most strongly connected to his little sister Lin and wants to become somebody she can be proud of. He also wishes to see his father and mother proud of him, though with his mother, that's easier said than done. He has often made sacrifices for the sake of his family, and if needed, he will do so again.

Vendetta (5) - Pavis has only ever felt such a burning hatred one other time, and he got his revenge back then. Watcher 3 captured him, tortured him and Ciessa, and hides behind the Remnant to justify her deeds. If they cross paths again, Pavis isn't quite certain he can show her any kindness.

Description

Pavis stands at 6'0 even with a slim build and weighs in at 155 lbs. His hair is black as midnight, with honey colored eyes. He sports a mustache and a soul patch, the mustache waxed into a natural curl and everything is kept neatly trimmed and maintained. His hair is combed over and styled, parted to his right with the sides shaved.

Minor Breakthrough: Demonstrated leadership potential and the ability to teach others.
Minor Breakthrough: The future is not set in stone. Just because Pavis has visions of things doesn't mean they'll always come to pass whether he intervenes or not.
Minor Breakthrough: There are alternatives to fighting, and Pavis proved this to be true. Using the diplomacy skills taught to him and practiced diligently, Pavis was able to deescalate violent situations from causing anymore undue harm. Pavis feels empowered and more confident in his social skills and will seek out non-violent solutions more readily.
Minor Breakthrough: Pavis managed to impress Master Ossa with his actions meeting with Colonol Valhoun. Taking a leap of faith and acknowledging his own mistakes, Pavis issued a formal apology on the behalf of the Praxeum. Master Ossa is willing to speak on Pavis' behalf during the next council mission to lift his punishment.
Minor Breakthrough: First Contact - Pavis, while not intentionally seeking to do so, made first contact with an indigenous tribe on Barison. While this first contact resulted in him and his party members losing their clothes and a medpac, he was able to keep everyone alive, unharmed, and did so without inciting violence. Yet when he traveled to Belkadan he was able to forge a bond of friendship with the natives and was even able to establish an ongoing knowledge trade between the two.
Minor Breakthrough: Pavis has realized during his encounter with the Mandalorians, that he needs to be capable of combat. He has gotten by on using his wits, tongue, and heavily modified blaster, but that's not enough. It's time for Pavis to learn a combat form, though what form that takes, remains to be seen.
Major Breakthrough: Pavis' first contact with the Imperial Remnant was not a positive one. Being captured and tortured by Watcher 3 has him doubting the sincerity of the Imperial Remnant. He may not hate the boots on the ground men in white, but he certainly holds no reservations to his distaste towards Imperial Officers, the ones truly in charge.
Major Breakthrough: Pavis had to suffer a hard reality check when he took on the Blacksite mission. His successes up to this point meant nothing and gave him a false sense of security and overconfidence in his abilities. This resulted in a friend getting hurt, him getting captured, and now he understands that he needs to add more caution and forethought before he acts. He doesn't always have the answer, and he may never always have the answer, but in the words of Naro "he can still have an opinion" and act, as long as he does so smartly.
Major Breakthrough: Pavis had to sacrifice his morals, and side with the enemy to preserve his own life. Or at least, that's what he believed to be the correct choice. When faced with the crushing weight of his guilt he was unable to keep this secret from Master Cilghal. For now, Pavis is still part of the NJO, but for how long, who knows.
In Progress: True Leadership/Self-Reflection - Learning how to lead appropriately and effectively. Was willing to make the hard choice when people were in danger. Violence is not the answer is peace is an option, and despite facing off against criminal elements that sought to settle a grudge, Pavis held fast to this belief and is slowly, but surely learning to forgive the actions of his past.
