Background

Dellon Sleazebaggano is the son of a former death stick dealer turned Galactic Republic Navy crewman, Elan Sleazebaggano. Throughout his childhood, Dellon was enamoured by his father's stories of battles he had fought in, and upon reaching maturity, signed up with the newly-formed Imperial Navy. The 6 years he spent in the navy were tough - the organisation he joined was nothing like the one his father had described, for it had become little more than an extension of the Emperor's iron fist. Worse yet, he endured constant vitriol and abuse from his fellow crewmembers for his non-human appearance. It almost came as a relief when he was discharged - almost. Dellon quickly found that his expulsion had blacklisted him from nearly every legitimate piloting job going, forcing him to flee as far as the Outer Rim in search of less-than-savoury work. Now, with his own ship and something resembling a crew, things are finally looking up for Sleazebaggano.

Motivation

Ambition: Freedom
Dellon is desperate to get out from under the thumb of the crime lord he's indebted to, and will do whatever he can do make it happen, including taking increasingly risky jobs.
Relationship: Comrades
Dellon has grown quite fond of his travelling companions, and will do what he can to keep them safe.

Obligations

4 - Betrayal:
Dellon was dishonourably discharged from the Imperial Navy when a mission ended catastrophically. His former best friend, a Human pilot called Jel Shadan, pinned all the blame for the incident on Dellon, and convinced several other crewmembers to testify as to his incompetence. Thanks to this and the growing sentiment against non-Humans in the Empire, the entire affair was over within a week, leaving Dellon unemployed and with little more to his name than some meager savings and the clothes on his back. He's never forgotten Jel's betrayal, and fully intends on retribution if he ever sees him again.
3 - Responsibility:
Dellon feels a lot of responsibility toward Alanda'chefer, the Twi'lek currently working aboard his ship as a mechanic. He inadvertently rescued her from her former slave master when she stowed away aboard his ship, and he let her stick around when she proved useful. In that time he's grown quite fond of her, and goes out of his way to make sure that her previous owners don't get her back, going so far as declining jobs that are even remotely connected to them.
3 - Debt:
Dellon has gotten caught up in a fairly typical scheme in the Outer Rim - the local crime lord made a very generous offer to help a young smuggler in need with buying a ship. In exchange, Dellon would do some work for them, and eventually pay off the debt. It's been several years since then, and the light at the end of the tunnel keeps growing dimmer.

Description

Dellon is a 33-year-old, 5'11 Balosar male, with dark hair, pale skin, and brown eyes. He sports a pair of antennae which sprout from the top of his head, and tend to unconsciously reflect his emotional state.
