D0-CB was stationed as a surgeon at the Dantooine rebel base and badly injured during the evacuation. It was this event that led to his being salvaged into a lifeless KX chassis that the rebels had acquired. D0C has some opinions on the forced transition and his new life a a field medic that have shaped his thoughts on droid rights and autonomy. It was shortly after this that he was restrained and repurposed by a rebellion special ops team. When the dust settled from that disaster, D0C went on the run, unsure of his future but unwilling to trust his new existence to the rebels. He now does what he has to survive on the fringes of the Empire.

Betrayal (15) - It was a small covert ops team from Guerra's faction that hacked D0C and used him as an interrogation droid, trying to extract information from an ISB agent. D0C has minimal memories of those months, but know he's responsible for the ultimate death of the agent and several of their loved ones in direct contradiction of his original programming. While he refuses to take any more lives, he will see the operators brought to justice. He has several search routines running throughout the Outer Rim and Hutt Space looking for the few he can remember.

Imagine if someone put a 2-1B processing unit in a KX chassis and painted it ceil blue, he's acquired a physician's coat that he tries to keep clean. It covers the utility harness that holds his blaster pistol, datapad, and with additional medical supplies. His right hand contains his hand scanner and a data spike for terminal access and the left the tools of his emergency medpack, including a modified scalpel that functions as a hold-out vibroknife.
