A former member of the anarchist group known as the Aa'kuan on, Atticus Farstar was considered an extremist even by their ranks, rejecting all forms of government authority and perceiving the Separatists, Republic, and Empire all as equally evil, with their authority being seen as tyrannical at their core, down to the local level. As a result, from a young age Atticus Farstar used his shapeshifting abilities to sabotage all sides in the Clone Wars, mainly relating to waste collection, taxes, and planning regulations, with many within Aa'kuan viewing Farstar as a pathetic loser, leading him to be expelled from the order.

After the Clone Wars, Farstar attempted to join the rebellion; however, he despised all rebel factions due to their desire to reinstate a tyrannical government, so he instead has been trying to wage a one-man war against the empire by carrying out low-level assassinations. He has so far taken out three targets (a data analyst, trash collector, and planning regulator). During an attempted 4th assassination attempt against a local land and property gazetteer custodian, Farstar was caught by the local government and thrown in prison.
