Gin holds a ceremonial role with the Imperial Army. He rose to prominence in the Serelumin system through various political dealings, and strong connections both with the Empire, and with local organizations, including those involved with the underworld. He has maintained a respectable face, but their a rumors of deals he has made to finance his rise to power, and prominence in the region.

Greed and a Lust for Power are his two driving motivations. While this can make him an extremely focused and goal driven leader, it is also his greatest weakness. He has in the past accepted bribes from a local gang, a decision that has backfired on him as he is now being blackmailed by the very same gang members.

Blackmail - Local Gang Leaders have a great deal of influence and power over the governor as he has been accepting bribes from them for years. They have collected detailed evidence against him for these bribes and now are blackmailing him to influence and control his decisions.
