Background

Spawned from the depths of a gifted but ultimately under stimulated Alliance starfighter maintainer, HV-ST0NK is the unsettling combination of Astromech and an Arakyd probe variant.

Using its Astromech socket compatibility and repulsorlift capability HV-ST0NK saved its creator countless labor hours in otherwise menial ship diagnostics, weapon system calibration and ordinance loading tasks. HV-ST0NK was also tasked with craft ferrying within and between rebel installations.

On a recent hyperspace jump piloting a Y-Wing destined for Sector Force Lantilles, the eccentricities of its creation and lack of memory wipes resulted in the emergence of a droid willing to do much more to further the cause of its creators beyond hangars and engineering bays...

Motivation

Thrill: Driven by his new found independence and lingering probish subroutines, HV-ST0NK seeks out opportunities to deliver direct effects both in space and on the ground. The true test of any system is its performance in the field and HV-ST0NK desires to experience the reality of the equipment he's maintained for so long.

Duties

Current Level: 0

Support: HV-ST0NK filled a myriad array of duties to maintain Alliance starfighter capability, performing everything from ordinance loading and weapons calibration to common pre-flight checks and starfighter ferry missions. HV-ST0NK continues to serve in the capacity he was created for though he desires to bring his expertise to bare in more directly kinetic avenues.

Description

HV-ST0NK is a combination Dwarf Probe Droid variant and R2 Astromech torso. The torso hangs underneath a modified repulsorlift ring which feature 4 heavy manipulator appendages and a variety of small multi functional ones. The "head" retains many of the same sensors with some replaced with noticeably R series optics. Many optics feature metal crash cages protecting them. The unit has a rusty orange and emergency yellow coloration with a poorly stenciled rebel crest on the upper slope of its dome.
